More Comprehension Practice

A good skill for students to deepen their reading comprehension is to ask at the end of reading a story "Is there a way you can connect this text (story) to yourself, or another text or the world?"  This really gets the students to think about how it relates to something in their own life.  Here are a few more examples of some students practicing this skill this week using the iPad app Pixntell:
